This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services & HR, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class employee development. The Sales Leader is fully responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Leader defines and implements plans for the assigned Accounts to achieve sales objectives. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business Sales and prior Sales Management experience.
Your Impact:
Development of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team members
Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
Management of a high-performance team, including recruiting, hiring, and training
Build strong team unity, internal connections, and collaboration, within the MuleSoft business area and across the Salesforce ecosystem
Leading weekly forecast meetings
Driving pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue-generating opportunities for the customer account(s)
Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identification
Engaging at the C-level in customer organisations
Develop the Go-To-Market strategy for the team
Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales Management
Leading weekly forecast meetings
Consistently supervising and enhancing the sales activities of the team

Required skills:
Proven track record in building/managing high-performance teams
Able to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment
Experience selling transformational technology solutions to major Enterprise customers across multiple industries
Previous experience succeeding as a manager in solution sales (Software / SaaS / Cloud)
A level of interest in, and/or experience positioning/selling Integration / API / Software Development Lifecycle / DevOps software solutions
Strong demonstrated and proven sales experience, working with complex customers
Extensive people management experience of a sales team
A passion for building a growing and diverse team
Proven ability to create and inspire high-performing teams
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)
Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvement
Excellent negotiation skills
A self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment
