Senior Security Automation Engineer

Threat Detection & Response is one of the most critical components of our security defense system. It involves complex subsystems including massive data collection, detection through complex rules and machine learning, highly scalable response automation, deep investigation capability and mitigation solutions.

Salesforce detection and response engineering team builds highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems to identify, find, and contain threat actors and their activities. We are looking for senior security automation engineers to design and build semi-automated/automated playbooks and integrations to automate the detection, investigation and response processes. You will have the great opportunities to work with Salesforce detection and response teams and analysts to define the priority, design the solution, and improve Salesforce security posture by aggressively automating any manual steps.

Required Skills

• Good understanding and experience with either Java or Python

• Experience in designing and building complex workflow and system integrations with REST API

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in translating customer requirements into design and solution

• Experience with scrum or other agile development methodologies, with attention to code quality, delivering secure code

• Hands on skills and experience in SOAR products (such as XSOAR/Demisto, Splunk Phantom) is a plus

• Hands on skills and experience in AWS service (such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, SQS, etc) is a plus

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and experience in security domain especially threat detection and response is a strong plus.
