Products and Technology
Service Cloud is the world’s number one customer service application and a rapidly growing $5B business. Our team is looking for an experienced product leader to drive execution from strategy and vision through delivery and growth for a new ultra-high growth product area. This management role will touch on all aspects of product development including analysis, vision, positioning, roadmap, and delivery through a world-class team of product managers and technologists.
Our product leaders at Salesforce are customer-obsessed and natural communicators and evangelists, able to effectively communicate with both levels from users to C-Suite both internally and externally. Cross-team collaboration is critical to drive success and this role will work closely with product marketing, sales, sales enablement, and alliances teams, as well as very close partnerships with engineering, UX and the broader product management organization.
Responsibilities

Own the product line vision and execution. Align with the product GM and with the overall product and company vision and direction. Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Clearly evangelize the vision so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going.
Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation and delivery processes.
Partner closely with the Technology. Build a world-class product driven by customers, prospects, and internal technology experts. Drive the end-to-end feature delivery cycle.
Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders. A collaborative attitude and aptitude are required for success.
Represent Salesforce. Be a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, online in our customer community and through social networking.
Measure and adjust. Define and share what success looks like and develop methods and processes to monitor, evaluate, and adjust, based on data.
Role Requirements
5+ years of product management experience (or relevant experience).
Strong team leadership and team-growth track record.
Experience analyzing customer and market needs into a successful product strategy.
Track record of collaborative delivery with technology teams.
Strong organizational as well as written and oral communication skills.
Comfort in high-level business discussions with internal and external executives.
Ability to lead and work autonomously.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Desired Requirements
Experience with customer service software or telephony products is a plus.
Experience with call center technologies and processes is a plus.
Cloud computing experience is a strong plus.
Working knowledge of Salesforce products is a plus.
Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products.
Understanding of software architecture and object oriented design is a plus.
MBA is a plus.
