We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Program Manager to join our Heroku team and play a pivotal role in driving successful Heroku initiatives within the dynamic environment of Heroku.

    Role and Responsibilities:
    As a Program Manager Intern at Heroku, you will have the opportunity to support and contribute to the execution of Heroku-related projects that contribute to our growth and customer success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in resource management, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

    Program Planning: Assist in the development of program plans, considering scope, goals, resources, timeline, and potential risks. Align programs with business objectives and Salesforce strategy.

    Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and product teams. Understand their needs, support progress tracking, and assist in managing expectations effectively.

    Agile Execution: Adapt to evolving requirements and priorities in an agile environment. Assist in utilizing agile methodologies to drive iterative progress and continuous improvement.

    Scope Management: Contribute to defining and managing program scope, ensuring a clear understanding of deliverables, requirements, and success criteria.

    Risk Awareness: Support in identifying potential risks, dependencies, and challenges. Assist in the development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure successful program delivery.

    Resource Coordination: Help coordinate resources across teams to optimize program execution. Contribute to ensuring efficient resource utilization to achieve program goals.

    Quality Support: Assist in ensuring program deliverables meet high-quality standards. Help monitor and address issues to maintain a high level of program integrity.

    Performance Metrics: Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success. Support in regular progress reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

    Required Skills:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Management, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.

    • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey concepts to diverse audiences.

    • Ability to work in an agile environment, adapt to changing requirements, and pivot as needed.

    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate nuances and complexities within programs.

    • Project management skills, including experience with program management methodologies and tools.

    Nice to Have:

    • Salesforce certifications (https://e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, etc.).

    • Previous experience working with Heroku products or other cloud platforms.

    • Familiarity with Salesforce technologies and CRM systems.

    • Experience in software development or customer relationship management.
