Our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Architects are strategic technical problem solvers and customer-facing subject matter experts on Salesforce Marketing Cloud systems, API, data, and integrations. They are experienced hands-on developers who work together with our Solution Architects, Business Architects and Project Managers to translate requirements and deliver specific technical objectives for customer engagement.
Our Architects are laser-focused on our customer’s success, with the ability to clearly understand and articulate solutions. As a trusted advisor, this person will maximize their Salesforce Certified knowledge, passion for learning, innovating, and solving problems, and consulting experience, to deliver valuable outcomes for our customers.
Your Impact:
Conduct technical requirements' gathering, review, and architecture sessions.
Document technical processes and run analysis between current and future states.
Own delivery tasks from initial scoping, planning and requirements analysis, through to design, development, testing and deployment.
Collaborate with our other Architects and Managers to detail, design, document, understand and/or deliver specifically technical specifications and solutions.
Provide subject matter expertise to customers and project teams
Understand out-of-the-box Marketing Cloud functionality, and have the ability to leverage and tailor these based on customer requirements.
Proactively identify and analyze issues and obstacles to settle and recommend appropriate courses of action.
Support and implement technical design solutions, customizing where required, using technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, JavaScript, Server-Side JavaScript, AMPScript, data extensions, advanced triggers, automations, and SQL queries.
Help us refine and improve by identifying, creating, and enhancing internal processes and methodologies based on recurring customer feedback and evolving industry standards.
Stay ahead of the curve with innovations, educate yourself and enable others on current and emerging technologies.
Run workshops, develop and present options based on technology and feasibility tradeoffs, and the choices that may be required to meet a customer’s objectives.
Work collaborative and dynamically across multiple (1-5) engagements at a time.
Share knowledge and innovate with the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in industry and/or software development .
Experience in architecture design of CRMs, ERPs, BSS or similar.
A positive “Can Do” and Customer Success-centric vision.
SSJS, JS, SQL, APIs, Node.JS (or similar), Database design experience.
Demonstrable experience advising on, and implementing marketing technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical documentation and the ability to conceptualize and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Will be a plus:
Good conversation level in English and/or Spanish
Experience with primary elements of Marketing Cloud: Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Personalization.
Developing experience with Javascript, Typescript, HTML.
Relevant Salesforce Certifications - Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Certified Salesforce Administrator.
Previous Marketing Cloud experience.
Previous platform development experience.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
