The Technical Program Management function is critical in the development and execution of a multi-year strategy to embed security seamlessly into our engineering processes enabling developers to deliver secure products while maintaining engineering agility. The primary goal of the SSDL (Salesforce Secure Development Lifecycle) program is to enable Salesforce to deliver on that promise of trust to our customers.

We are seeking an individual that brings deep technical understanding and directional leadership to build scalable security programs. Someone that enjoys solving sophisticated technical security problems and overcoming obstacles throughout the program lifecycle. An individual, a team member and a partner that is self motivated and brings others along with them. Someone that is willing to delve into the data and make it presentable decision makers. A person that wants to grow, learn and be challenged by some of the world’s top security talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive development and execution of a multi-year SSDL Program Strategy involving training, tooling, process and automation
Apply technical expertise to partner with stakeholders to build seamless end-to-end security solutions
Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership
Openly share data backed metrics to inform peers, partners and leadership regarding impact, risk and outcomes
Strive for a “no surprises” environment by establishing feedback loops across Security Functions to continuously evolve and expand the program’s efficacy
Self identify and resolve obstacles that could slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
5-10+ years of experience in software, application or infrastructure security, in a role at a large matrixed enterprise
5+ years of experience building a roadmap and leading sophisticated programs with people, process, technology components
Thorough understanding of Secure Development Lifecycle fundamentals and components
Experience in framing, establishing and implementing large-scale (enterprise-level) initiatives
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior leaders, engineers and non-technical team members alike
Concise written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in influencing executives, describing impact and driving decisions
Outstanding detail-oriented organizational skills, being data driven and experience with creating reporting and dashboards
Ability to be flexible with a positive demeanor and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Strong influencing skills with an ability to motivate and drive others to succeed

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $86,800 for a Technical Program Manager. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
