Business Operations Analyst, Center 6300 Space Mission Program (Mid-Career/Experienced)

NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.

Salary Range:

$75,900 - $146,200

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support various projects and programs in support of Center 6300's Space Mission Program. This role will apply leadership and tailored project management practices in close partnership with the 6300-management and technical team, technical staff and various program office interfaces. This role is an exciting opportunity to be embedded with our technical team and sponsors working onsite at a customer location for two weeks of every month.

Typical tasks could include:

• Partnering with business team, technical staff, project leads and managers to analyze project execution, processes, and resources and make recommendations to key decision makers
• Providing decision support to project leadership in various business areas including financial planning, resource management, trends and projections, and business processes
• Partnering with project technical leads to execute project planning, cost and resource management, cost estimation, and reporting and analysis
• Providing operational support for technical activities to ensure effective integration, optimization of processes, and compliance with policies

This position does require the ability to travel to customer site bi-weeky.

Qualifications We Require:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 5 or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Current Active SCI clearance (or equivalent)

• Domain knowledge of the Space Mission Program
• Experience with Sandia's financial tools including ARC, EBI, Oracle, and CET/PET
• Experience with scheduling fundamentals and concepts

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) SCI security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another U.S. government agency (e.g., DOD). Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
