NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

Salary Range:

$75,900 - $146,200 *Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate¿s experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support Center 6300’s execution of the United States Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS) Build 7 ground station development. This role will partner with the 6300-management and technical teams to execute project objectives, lead a team of business professionals in support of project deliverables, and interface with the USNDS Ground program office.

Typical tasks could include:

• Providing decision support to project leadership in various business areas including financial planning, resource management, trends and projections, and business processes
• Leading a team of business analysts to support program objectives including project planning, cost and resource management, cost estimation, schedule execution, reporting and analysis, and risk and change management
• Providing operational support for technical activities to ensure effective integration, optimization of processes, and compliance with policies

Qualifications We Require:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 5 or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance (or DOD equivalent)
• Experience with Earned Value Management concepts and tools

Qualifications We Desire:

• Domain knowledge of the Remote Sensing Systems and ground station development
• Familiarity with software development tools and practices
• Experience with Sandia's financial tools including ARC, EBI, Oracle, and CET/PET
• Experience with scheduling fundamentals and concepts
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions
• Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another U.S. government agency (e.g., DOD).
