NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.

Salary Range:

$115,400 - $196,100

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Assist in identifying and quantifying schedules, suppliers, cost estimates, and results that support our mission areas.
• Assist teams in supply chain logistics and sourcing materials.
• Work as liaison between our department and suppliers.
• Assist with high-level facilities projects.
• Integrate with teams and help identify inefficiencies.
• Assist with special projects and logistics for various technical support

The selected applicant can be a remote worker located in any U.S. State or District of Columbia. Regular or periodic travel to your assigned work location may be required.

Qualifications We Require:

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in relevant field, plus one (1) year or more of directly related experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in Project Management and/or Logistics experience.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance.

• Experience solving sophisticated multi-agency problems
• Ability to understand technical problems and resolve issues
• Experience coordinating large scale teams in a diverse environment

Group 6640 operates four explosive test facilities located in Coyote Test Field: Site 9920, Site 9930/9939, Site 9940, and Thunder Range. Across our upward of 913 acres, we have 23 explosive areas, with explosive limits up to 2000 lbs NEW. We also maintain an environmentally controlled detonation facility and an indoor ballistics test facility. Our team employs world-class diagnostics, radiography and high-speed videography techniques and equipment to acquire critical test data. Additionally, we have multiple configurable training venues and training devices to provide explosive application related training.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another U.S. government agency (e.g., DOD). Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
