NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.

Center 5300 focuses on RF, Navigation, Guidance, and Controls and electronic technologies for a variety of sponsors. This includes the development and fielding of high-performance Radar systems to support various Nuclear Weapon (NW), National Security Programs (NSP), homeland security, and interagency programs and R&D initiatives. The center further specializes on enhancing Navigation, Guidance and Control technologies through contested or denied environments, including navigation integrity and situational awareness, inertial measurement unit (IMU) calibration and specialization, advanced sensor fusion, and alternative navigation (altnav) sensors. These include, but are not limited to, terrain correlating Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR), star trackers, and signal-of-opportunity navigation for national security applications.Organization 5300 has varied work opportunities and is actively seeking experienced electrical/computer/controls engineers with experience in one or more of the following fields:

Security Clearance:
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Salary Range:
$99,700.00 - $196,100.00
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
