What Your Job Will Be Like:
The W93/Mk7 program is seeking a System Integration Engineer to lead development and product realization for all ALTs (non WR) for the W93/Mk7 Program. The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated, mission-driven team, able to work closely with technical staff, management, and customers to address various program needs representing all partner organizations concurrently. Works directly with the system integration lead to leverage efforts across all program elements to ensure all stakeholder needs are being met. This position will also involve significant engagement with Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL) and Lockheed Martin Space (LMS). The successful candidate should be comfortable in both the technical and cooperative leadership venues with strong teaming and communication skills.

About Our Team:
The W93 System Integration Department has System-Level Engineering and Integration responsibility for the W93/Mk7 Navy Strategic Reentry System Program. The department provides technical leadership in such areas as requirements development, system engineering processes, and surety integration, to name a few. We work closely with our partners and program stakeholders, including NNSA Federal Program Managers, the US Navy, Lockheed Martin Space, Los Alamos National Lab, Kansas City Plant National Security Campus, Pantex, the UK Atomic Weapons Establishment, and many others, to coordinate expertise and foster innovation in efforts to ensure technical integration across all program areas.

Security Clearance:
Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another https://U.S. government agency (https://e.g., DOD). Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants for employment need to be able to maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires https://U.S. citizenship.
