WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
USA Job Function Description: Designs, analyzes and implements the compensation philosophy for the company. Develops, implements, administers and maintains compensation programs (e.g., base pay, short- and long-term incentive pay) for all employees. Administers and/or modifies compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness and compliance with legislation.
Essential Functions/Responsibilty Statements:
Responsible for management and delivery of Executive and/or General compensation projects as assigned.
Directs and completes detailed analyses to support the design and development of compensation programs to better align corporate compensation structure with current industry trends and business needs.
Acts as subject matter expert to compensation team specifically with company HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Considered a chief liaison with Group and SAN US Legal contacts on executive compensation matters and Group led projects impacting Compensation, including applicable policy reviews and updates.
Partners with leadership to design and develop company compensation strategy.
Manages and/or participates in SAN US wide projects (e.g., MRT designation, GPG/EPG, Equity Administration, etc.) in partnership with Compensation partners, HRIS and other HR Partners
Builds strong relationships with colleagues, including HR Business Partners, Communications, Talent, Finance, HR Operations, HR Leadership and Group contacts.
Manage Board, HR and Benefits Committee agendas, timelines, internal meeting preparation, meeting management and coordination; material development
Participates in compensation related audits
Participate in the design, development, and presentation of content for manager trainings, communications.
Consults with business and HR leaders on a variety of compensation-related topics and educates on best practices, communication tools and techniques, and provides guidance on a variety of compensation related topics.
Assists in the management and administration of the annual salary and incentive programs, including writing program documentation and employee communications and working with HRIS team to ensure program system functionality is accurate.
Conducts ongoing data audits ensuring data accuracy and integrity of all compensation-related information in all HR systems, tools and resources.
Coordinates and partners as SME on addressing potential Malus & Clawback events across SAN US entities; liaise with Group as required.
Participates in annual competitive market of select executive compensation positions, builds recommendations /board presentations.
Evaluates job content and formulate recommendations to business on ranges, title, pay, and FLSA exemption status based on analyses of duties, internal equity and market competitiveness, and communicates outcomes to HR and Managers.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 9-12 years ; HR, finance, or similar role.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
Position requires poise, tact and diplomacy
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization, mindful of the culture and diversity of the audience
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Ability to prioritize in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Technology savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Strong learning and inquisitive skill set
