WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Marketing Manager ideates and executes on marketing opportunities and the best tactics and strategy to support business needs and objectives. They are a strategic partner to business units across the company, serving as a point of contact for the marketing department. This person is creative, articulate, organized and a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills. The ability to work within a team and across multiple cross-functional groups is absolutely essential to this role. They understand complex needs from the business and from the market and simplify the needs into a clear and actionable plan for execution.
Summary of Responsibilities: The Marketing Manager will work with the Manager Customer Marketing Strategy to develop and execute customer-facing marketing strategies and plans. They will provide a full range of marketing and communications support to consumer lines of business to deliver consistent and effective results to business stakeholders and promote a best-in-class experience for customers. They will receive requests, build creative briefs, facilitate both business and governance approvals and ultimately deliver projects on established timelines, within the targeted budget, while keeping the customer experience top of mind at all times. They will work in collaboration with Business Partners to craft messages to achieve measurable results and desired business goals/objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing programs to support growth of the Company’s products and services
- Plans and executes external strategic marketing campaigns and builds relationships aimed at increasing brand awareness
- Engages and communicates with key business partners to align priorities and influence business areas
- Assists in development of content for external marketing communication projects including brochures/guides, digital media, print projects, social media, websites and emails
- Prepares strategy for and coordinates distribution of newsletters, blogs, articles, social media posts and other customer-focused channel materials
- Develops processes and efficiencies to enhance creative service project management, resource planning and prioritization
- Monitors and reports on trends within industry and marketing to assist in strategy development across all channels

Requirements:
Education –
- Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration or equivalent field
- Or equivalent work experience
Experience –
- 5-9 years Marketing, Advertising or Communications
- 0-3 years Financial Services industry experience preferred
- Experience using Workfront or a comparable project management platform preferred
Skills & Abilities –
- Ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior-level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust
- Extremely strong written abilities, with consideration of creative writing preferred
- Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with new digital technology, social media and reporting; must also be able to interpret and convey reporting results to campaign stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Superior organizational, time management and project management skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs and measure results
- Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different viewpoints and influence others

- Ability to interpret and analyze an array of data in a variety of forms and leverage it for marketing purposes

Working Conditions:
