    Position summary

    • Authors and drives feature specifications with the dedicated Engineering team.

    • Defines the customer journey and user experience and partner with our creative staff to deliver amazing designs.

    • Leads a team of architects, senior platform engineers and domain SMEs to deliver regulatory compliant middleware platform leveraging agile methodology.

    Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

    Work Experience: 9+ years Middleware Engineering Management, Software Development Team Management and/or Application Portfolio Management.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments.

    • Deep technical expertise in managing large middleware platforms that includes, Confluent Kafka and its products**, IBM API Connect, Mulesoft, OpenShift & Kubernetes** container platforms, Automating Springboot microservices deployments using Github Actions.

    • Knowledge of AWS Cloud platform and its native services that includes but not limited to EC2, ECS, EKS, S3 is required.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business.

    • Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations.

    • Demonstrated relationship management and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management.

    • Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed. Experienced with quality management.

    Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.     The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
    Salary: $148,500 - $210,000/year
