WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Identifies and pursues new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
Achieving annual revenue budget and overall business metrics set forth for their product area, specifically distribution volumes and secondary distribution.
Act as a syndicated loan specialist covering Santander's Corporate and Institutional clients and expected to assist with the bank's origination and distribution activities
Manages and has proper seniority to oversee junior professionals during the due diligence and underwriting process for potential transactions
Oversees deal teams during underwriting process and marketing of the transactions

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 12-15+ years of experience in Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated thought leader in banking products and services.
Very strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication
Expert presentation and public speaking skills
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills
Demonstrated complex contact negotiation/creation skills
Ability to work remotely and independently

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $220,000-$270,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
