    Healthcare Finance (Medical Equipment) Business Development OfficerDes Moines, United States of America

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    The Healthcare Finance Business Development Officer will be responsible for generating new loan and lease business in the Healthcare Finance (medical equipment) vertical.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Source, develop, and onboard new healthcare finance business through OEMs, dealers/distributors, intermediaries, and leasing companies
    • Discuss customer needs, problems, or complaints, and arrange for resolution
    • Maintain active call campaign with prospective vendor targets as well as existing customers for future business opportunities
    • Assist in risk management activities as directed by team leader on behalf of the business team
    • Negotiate terms and pricing within prescribed business line parameters to meet financial and risk return requirements

    Qualifications

    • 9+ years of sales, marketing, relationship management and/ or business development experience in the healthcare finance industry
    • Must have hands-on experience prospecting for new business in the healthcare finance industry. Experience outside of this industry will not be considered
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • High level of proficiency with financial calculations
    • Ability to work well with others
    • Proficiency with MS Office
    • Sales oriented
    • Self-motivated with a willingness to achieve goals
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

    Working Conditions

    Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

    For NYC and CA Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $105,000-$115,000 (excluding commission bonus).  The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
