WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Pricing Intern will be part of a team that is responsible for analysis, sales, and pricing across a portfolio of products. The Intern will be responsible for assisting with analysis of changes to credit policies, creating presentations for executive management, assessing current and ongoing projects, and maintaining documentation on a weekly basis. The role will provide the intern with an opportunity to gain a stronger understanding of Pricing Analytics within the Financial Services industry.

This 2024 Summer Internship is for an undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Model and Pricing governance initiatives in model development, implementation, and model life-cycle management
  • Support internal and external reviews from a governance perspective
  • Support the creation of complex datasets for the pricing and analytics team
  • Learn new technologies quickly and be able to implement in current projects
  • Analyzes the tradeoff between pricing and volume and how this relationship impacts overall profits and corporate strategies
  • Assists in planning the pricing, credit mix and return objectives by market for future originations

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate student at a university or college n
  • Preferably majoring in Decision Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related major
  • Expected graduation date between December 2024 – May 2025
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of https://3.00
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Availability for entire internship program
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions:

  • Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.

  • Travel to multiple facilities may be required.

  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.

  • May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.

  • May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
