WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Associate, Product Development is responsible for executing the strategic product development process focused on bringing new products to the market and enhancing existing products for Auto Finance business.
Works with stakeholders & SMEs to assess needs and determine how to deliver value to our customers
Accountable for the overall product strategy, vision, roadmap, and support of the product
Supports set up, alignment and configuration of ART to support Product/Value Stream
Actively coordinates and facilitates long-range Epic and/or Feature Level Roadmap (at least 3 PIs ahead)
Has content authority for Epics and Features in Program Backlog
Responsible for synthesizing business needs into Features that are ranked and prioritized within the Program Backlog
Continuously refine features until they meet Program level Definition of Ready (DoR) criteria and thereby become candidates for inclusion in upcoming PIs
Partners with RTE on all PI activities and events (Planning& Execution)
Reporting on the health and overall program efforts with sound metrics and analytics. S/he facilitates Steering Committee and/or Executive Committee level program team status meetings and all other communications.
Develops, edits and implements project plans to manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects (i.e., resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies).
Manages work streams, prepares status reports and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives.
Coordinates and communicates the activities of project with relevant stakeholders to ensure progress within time and budget constraints.
Drives delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 9+ years ; Product development experience.
Demonstrated project management experience and evidence of product management / ownership
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to build strong trusted relationships and foster collaboration and teamwork in a variety of settings.
Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio management tools (i.e. Clarity, Visio, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.).
Demonstrated effectiveness at using influence persuasion and negotiation to find agreeable exchange and reach positive outcomes.
Strong team ethic and collaborative work style is essential
High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with regular day-to-day activities
