WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Position Summary:
The Financial Control Senior Analyst's main duties include but are not limited to; daily analysis and reconciliation of HFM/Hyperion/DUCO/TPG vs T24, daily GL review providing variance explanations, reporting and presentations to facilitate the decision-making process. The Sr. Analyst will ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures and participate in different projects and
initiatives as required by supervisor.
This position requires strong technical knowledge of the banking industry and accounting, must be innovative and proactive, and a great team player.
The Financial Control Senior Analyst reports to the Financial Analysis and Control Supervisor.
Position Duties / Responsibilities:
• Daily analysis of financial statements and monitoring of bank activities, to ensure compliance with threshold.
• Responsible for monthly reporting including Management Information System (MIS), and presentations with ad hoc analysis to Management for the decision-making process.
• Support the FA&C Team in the creation of GL structure, modification, and addition with proper documentation.
• Responsible for daily GL review, including off balance sheet positions and service and products platforms.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of HFM/Hyperion/DUCO/TPG vs T24.
• Analyze impact of new products, and any other scenario that may impact the financials of the bank.
• Research and follow up of suspense account, Catch All, out of balance, and any other incidents in the financial statements.
• May guide and assist junior level professionals as needed, and develop working relationships with business line personnel.
• Participate in projects as required.

Specialized Knowledge:
• Demonstrated competence of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
• Knowledge of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reporting
• Accounting research
• Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy, and demonstrate holistic understanding of accounting and financial report
• Knowledge of Globus, desired
Education: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Business Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated
required level of proficiency
Technical Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage and analyze big volume of data from different sources
• Practical analytical and accounting skills.
Languages: English required, Spanish is a plus.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
