Sr. Specialist, Sales & Service Support, Dorchester, MACountry: United States of America
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This is a phone based internal position where the incumbent will manage a book of business, as well as temporarily support clients transitioning to branch based Financial Advisors. This role will require handling inbound calls, as well as proactively reaching out to clients to deliver outstanding service and sales solutions to meet clients’ financial needs and goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently
Experience and comfort with phone based support and sales, with history of financial or investment product support.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner, verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred or relevant equivalent work experience
3+ years experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients in a call center environment
Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) securities licenses + life/health insurance licenses preferred, or to be obtained within a specified timeframe
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong knowledge of sales support and effective sales enhancement techniques within the industry
Ability to work independently and set appropriate priorities to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to measure program performance and make recommendations for improvement
Vendor relationship experience helpful
Attention to detail
Self motivator and creative thinker
Experience coaching and influencing others to achieve goals
Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills and writing ability
Maintains appropriate sales licensing
P.C. software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, Callidus, PeopleSoft, etc.)

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
