    Become a Data Analytics Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll be part of a team supporting our Customer Care organization which delivers customer focused programs that create healthier and more resilient communities and help lower their energy bills through bill assistance programs. You will provide data modeling and analytics reporting in support of important programs that assist our customers and perform statistical analysis and forecasting to inform the planning and development of business strategies to assist customers.

         As a Data Analytics Senior Specialist, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone.       Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?

    • Collect and compile data from various enterprise systems to support income qualified, disadvantaged, and vulnerable customer programs.

    • Utilize visualization tools such as Power-BI to generate reports for regulatory compliance and internal purposes.

    • Compile bi-weekly program performance reports, prepare data for monthly status calls, and lead data related efforts for regulatory filings, formal data requests, and ad-hoc requests.

    • Design and analyze advanced analytics projects, work with large and diverse data sets, perform data cleansing, create SAS/SQL queries, create SAS stored procedures, and create automated reports.

    • Provide data analytics reporting and written content for numerous regulatory/compliance reports highlighting the Customer Care organizations program performance and impact across our service area.

    Qualifications

    The essentials

    • Five (5) or more years of experience designing, building, and analyzing advanced analytics projects.

    • Three (3) or more years of experience working with large and diverse data sets, writing SAS/SQL queries, data cleansing, and report automation.

    • Three (3) or more years of experience working with program vendors and/or invoicing responsibilities

    • Experience with Power BI

    • Experience in project management support activities including coordinating key project deliverables and helping resolve project-related concerns.

    • Expertise with performing data analytics and reporting for large scale customer programs.

    The preferred

    • Knowledge of SAP reporting.

    • PMP Certification and/or bachelor’s degree.

    You should know

    • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
