    A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

    • Responsible for processing Crane requests with daily interactions with internal and external clients, using SAP, Word, Excel, Google earth, FAA E file system & Outlook..
    • Annual Permit tracking and upkeep.
    • Some after-hours emergency rotation responsibility.
    • Job walks and work method plans related to Crane Operations providing Technical Support and job coordination to include cost estimates.
    • Provides recommendations as needed to Department and Division Management on Crane lift projects i.e. Deteriorated pole, Distribution cut over projects, Transmission Tower Replacement projects, storm support.
    • Provides technical support while working with Regulatory Agencies for FAA and encroachment permitting of Crane in public thoroughfares
    • Completes SAP Crane Notification tasks with tracking of costs, equipment & time for accurate critical metric reporting for both internal Crane Utilization and on time delivery crane services.
    • Monitor purchase order spend, processes change order and works with procurement to establish new purchase orders.
    • Position may be required to work any day of the year, planned or during emergencies. This could involve extensive continuous overtime during the normal shift as well as weekends and holidays be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
    • Conducts safety/tailboard and has Supervisory experience with contractors/maintenance trades.
    • Conducts safety observations weekly with corrective actions plans as needed and online submittals.

    The essentials

    • Five (5) or more years of experience in construction scheduling.

    • Valid California Driver's License.

    • Knowledge of Hydraulic Truck Cranes, understanding of Load Charts.

    • Knowledge of measuring tools/instruments (i.e. range finders, wheels etc.).

    • Ability to perform job walks as advised to determine job scope radius with an understanding of cranes load capacities.

    • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel

    The preferred

    • Experience using Google Earth and FAA E File system

    • Experience with SAP, Ariba, SharePoint, MS Teams

    • Experience in the Crane industry

    • This position's work mode is hybrid.u202f The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

    • Position will require up to 60% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
