    Position summary

    engage with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional value through Schneider's solutions.

    As a senior leader, will be responsible for identifying and converting business opportunities, building long-term client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of consulting projects. He/She will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with sales, engineering, and field services teams to achieve business objectives and drive customer success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Opportunity Generation and Business Development

    • Proactively identify, evaluate, and develop business opportunities in the energy and electrical consulting sector.

    • Establish partnerships and networks to extend Schneider Electric's reach in electro-intensive and electro-sensitive industries.

    • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and grow existing accounts, focusing on key verticals such as manufacturing, utilities, data centers, and commercial infrastructure.

    2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management

    • Build and nurture trusted advisory relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, senior officials and energy specialists at clientele

    • Understand client challenges and objectives to craft tailored consulting solutions aligned with Schneider Electric's offerings in Energy and Electrical domain

    • Act as a thought leader, presenting Schneider's value proposition and staying engaged throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction.

    3. Consulting Services Promotion and Delivery

    Promote and deliver consulting services, including but not limited to:

    • Energy audits and efficiency assessments.

    • Power quality studies and recommendations.

    • Electrical asset management consulting.

    • Data center audits and optimization.

    • Lifecycle management of electrical systems and emerging consulting services.

    • Translate technical expertise into business solutions that demonstrate tangible ROI for clients.

    4. Technical Expertise and Collaboration

    • Support the sales team with technical discussions, proposal development, and solution presentations.

    • Collaborate with engineering, tendering, project management, marketing, customer experience, and project teams to develop innovative consulting packages and address complex customer requirements.

    • Participate in workshops, webinars, and industry events to showcase Schneider Electric's technical leadership.

    5. Cost Optimization and Competitive Positioning

    • Work closely with pricing and financial teams to create cost-competitive proposals without compromising quality.

    • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine consulting offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

    6. Leadership and Knowledge Sharing

    • Train and mentor sales and technical teams on consulting offerings, industry trends, and solution-centric approaches.

    • Drive a culture of innovation and collaboration within the business development function.

    • Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and cross-functional team discussions.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree or MBA preferred).

    • 12-15 years of experience in the electrical engineering domain, with proven expertise in site execution of systems such as switchgear, transformers, protection devices, and energy audits.

    • Consulting experience with Big 4 or equivalent firms in the power and energy sector will be an added advantage.

    Technical Expertise

    • Comprehensive understanding of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, power quality improvement, energy efficiency measures, and digital energy management solutions.

    • Knowledge of asset management consulting, including lifecycle assessment, risk analysis, and optimization strategies.

    • Familiarity with data center power systems, energy optimization frameworks, TIER certification, HVAC etc. and sustainability best practices

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strategic Mindset: Ability to identify growth opportunities, analyze market trends, and execute long-term plans effectively.

    • Customer-Centric Approach: Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to empathize with client needs and build trust.

    • Technical Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to offer value-driven consulting services.

    • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and stakeholder engagement.

    • Project Leadership: Proficiency in managing complex, multi-stakeholder consulting projects.

    • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
