    Position summary

    processes. Support EM Finance SVP in close coordination with EM Strategy & Performance Senior Controller with yearly planning financial cycle like Prioritization, Strat Plan and Cash Out Target Setting. Be the contact person for EM Cash Out related topics.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Point of Contact for Financial EM Cash Out Financials

    Point of contact within Energy Management to address questions regarding Cash Out performance. Stakeholders are mainly: EM leaders, Corporate, Accounting, and Auditors.

    • Cash Out Monthly Reporting and Analysis

    Reporting and analysis of Cash Out performance for EM. Works closely with Divisions and other perimeters that are part of the BU to understand opportunities and risks within monthly variance analysis for both statutory and CCO performance. Prepares monthly Cash Out slide for management report with relevant commentary and back up information.

    • Yearly Planning Financial Cycle

    Leading Cash Out yearly planning financial cycle starting with Strategy Planning, Prioritization and Rolling Forecast incl. proposal for yearly target setting. Ensures compliance with global requirements and animation within EM. Cooperates with Corporate, Divisions, and EM leadership.

    Ownership of future forecasting transformation into top-down and driver-based process.

    • Annual Targets

    Preparation of annual Cash Out Pre- Targets for EM divisions based on Strategy Planning and Prioritization outcome, follow up on final targets and animation of any changes during the year.

    • Coordination and Animation of Corporate processes in line with compliance requirement

    EM Point of contact for global reporting requirements and corporate/CoE initiatives. Responsible for driving reporting compliance within EM Divisions and Functions. Focal point of contact for internal / external governance activities as they relate to EM Cash Out, including audit, KIC,s

    • Ad-Hoc

    Other Ad-Hoc responsibilities as they pertain to EM Cash Out Business Finance.

    • Communication & Transformation

    Support process transformation strategy for processes, tools and organizational design within Horizon and CoE area - acting as functional owner for EM level.

    Advocate for relevant scopes in Global transformations (e.g. EPM, DFL, Global SFC Dashboards)

    Temporary until the Process and Tools team will take over:

    • EM Prior/ Proforma Lead

    Leads the EM Prior campaign, setting up and communicating processes, implementing governance and ensuring compliance, managing prior flow processing, and ensuring completion of campaign by set deadlines.

    • DFL CCO Allocation Keys update Campaign

    Leads the annual process of DFL Allocation Keys update campaign within EM; produces overall guidance, instructions, timelines; ensures consistency and compliance across EM.

    Key Steakholders and Cooperation areas

    • EM Business Finance Teams - Divisional Cash Out Leads and Performance Team (Centre of Excellence)

    • EM Finance Leadership incl. BU Finance SVP and Division CFOs

    • EM Strategy

    • CoE organization incl. Process & Tools Team

    • Competency Center Business Finance & Accounting

    • Corporate Finance & Accounting, External Auditors


    • +7 years' experience in Finance, Controlling area in the field of reporting, financial analysis, or auditing

    • Analytical mindset with an ability to draw appropriate conclusions and identify inconstancies

    • Experience in Top-down modeling, driver-based forecasting

    • Superb Excel/Power Point skills

    • DFL knowledge is a plus

    • Strong focus on process automation (good IT tools knowledge) and simplification

    • Fluent English in speaking and writing

    • Strong communication skills and very good stakeholders' management ability

    • High sense of responsibility and commitment

    • Proactive and flexible approach

    • Proven experience working within a complex, matrix style environment

    • Experience successfully supporting key decisions makers across the globe
