    Position summary

    ent/OS) - What distribution configurations are available and how do they impact the design of the SSCB??

    • Research on different earthing arrangements between the AC and DC system:
      • What grounding configurations are available and how do they impact the design of the SSCB?
    • Full SSCB design (1 prototype to be made):
      • Topology selection and a complete simulation

      • Semiconductor selection

      • Loss calculation

      • Heatsink sizing

      • Schematics and PCB design

      • Prototype of the SSCB

      • Verification of the prototype

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • MSc or PhD student (preferably in last year of studies)

    • Strong knowledge of power electronics and ability to read schematic and PCB design (advantageous)

    • Strong understanding of analog electronics (plus)

    • Experience with laboratory testing

    • Strong communication skills for internal and customer presentations

    • Proactive mindset and ability to work in a multicultural environment

    • Fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage
