Scope and Environment
Part of a customer project execution/application center.
Project technical teams are located spread among one or several sites/countries in East Asia, requiring international collaboration with other functional teams/stakeholders.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Technical Team Coordination & Management
Technical Coordination of Project Stakeholders
Design & Implementation (based on the individual's area of expertise)
Risk & Opportunity Management, Change Management, and Alerts
Customer Interaction
Quality Processes, Methods, and Tools
Community of Practice & Coaching
Participate in the Technical Leaders' Community of Practice within the Execution Center and globally within the Technical Excellence Community network.
Identify, document, share, and promote lessons learned and best practices.
Act as a role model and coach for junior engineers and designers.
Stay updated on the latest technical developments in relevant equipment and systems, acting as a subject matter referent within the Community.
Requirements and Qualification
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Fluent in English (TOEIC 700+ required) and Korean; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
At least 10 years of experience leading technical scopes in projects related to Power Systems or Electrical Distribution Systems (including MV, LV, transformers, protective devices, switches, busway & cabling systems, protection relays, UPS, etc.).
Experience working in one or more engineering domains such as Power, Automation & Software, Telecom & IT, Cyber Security, Mechanical & HVAC, and Structural is an advantage.
Technical experience in specific market segments (e.g., Power GRID & Utility, Oil & Gas Production (OGP), Mining, Minerals & Metals (MMM), Food & Beverage (F&B), Data Centers, etc.) or in customer-specific applications/processes is a plus.
Proficient in using electrical and/or software tools for drawing, studies, and calculations.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply relevant industry standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical issues clearly and concisely.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn, share knowledge, coach colleagues, and collaborate effectively within teams.
