    Key responsibilities

    • Select, design, develop, and maintain Software coded in C, C++ or Python (mainly) in compliance with Schneider Electric quality criteria and development processes.

    • Participate in defining and clarifying marketing/technical needs with the Product Owner.

    • Lead or contribute to the definition of the Software architecture, with a strong capacity for innovation and proposing the right technical choices.

    • Validate firmware deliverables by conducting unit, integration, product, or system tests.

    • Ensure the quality of the firmware deliverables by running source code and binary scans to detect and fix coding issues, license infringements, cybersecurity known vulnerabilities...

    • Analyse and fix defects.

    • Expertise customer issues and provide support to all internal & external stakeholders (other squads, plants, customers...).

    • Develop utility software for design & test purposes.

    Must‑have qualifications

    • Engineering degree in Embedded Software or Electronics

    • 5+ years of professional experience in Digital product development

    • Proficiency in embedded Firmware architecture & development.

    • Extensive experience in C, C++ or Python (mainly) programming languages.

    • Huge expertise in Linux distribution for embedded and associated tools and build system including Yocto.

    • Programming with Angular and NodeJs for frontends

    • Full-stack development

    • UI/UX development for HMI devices

    • Mastery in containerization and associated tools such as Docker.

    • Solid understanding of industrial Software development process: version management (GitHub), build (IDE), unitary testing, static code analysis (Coverity), binary analysis (BDBA), qualimetry (SQuORE), integration tests.

    • Additional knowledges in cybersecurity (secure boot, secure update, authentication & authorization controls...), in TCP/IP and wireless communications and protocols (IEC61850, HTTP, Modbus, ZigBee...); including associated tools.

    • Advocate of Agile, System Engineering and DevSecOps approaches/methods with practical experience using associated tools (JIRA, Jama, GitHub Actions...).

    • Strong knowledge on standard software development processes & tools (specification, architecture, design, implementation, verification, and documentation)

    • Good knowledge of Digital Technologies (IP-based technologies and protocols, software defined, cybersecurity...)

    • Programming with C++ for backends

    • Task orchestrator: threads management and synchronization, parallel execution, access to databases

    • Cybersecurity (secure boot, secure update, secure communication, logs, authentication & authorization controls...)

    • VSCode

    • Valgrind

    • GTest & GMock

    • Knowledge on IEC61850

    • Self-managed, disciplined and committed to working in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient in public speaking

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and systems thinking

    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrated cross-cultural flexibility

    • Good Knowledge about Agile Methodologies and experience in multi-squad/organization setup

    • Fluent in English
