    Position summary

    global, all-hands effort for our planet and for the generations to come. We are seeking highly motivated, collaborative, forward-thinking digital graduates with an enthusiasm for sustainability data field, to join us in Budapest, Hungary.

    What will you do?

    As part of an ongoing initiative to develop and retain a highly talented workforce, our goal is to provide exposure to several data teams and areas within our Sustainability Digital Business division for a 2-year period.

    You will become a permanent employee who will rotate in different roles and gain valuable experience in the energy & sustainability consulting departments.

    You will join our high-performing Content and Data Strategy, Climate Data Advisory (CDA), Data Science teams, making a real business impact during your placements. You will learn on the job and via a structured development plan to ensure long-term career success with us - even beyond this program. There will be many opportunities to collaborate and learn from our specialist teams and leaders across the globe, in addition to your dedicated professional buddy.

    This is a unique opportunity that offers exposure to various innovative teams, providing hands-on technical training and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

    Learning and Development: Throughout the two-year program, participants will:

    • Understand the importance and insights of data in decision-making processes

    • Get familiar with a global company's sustainability challenges and actions

    • Develop knowledge around various software tools and platforms

    • Be part of Schneider Electric's new visible project, that have a significant impact on the company's sustainability goals

    This job might be a great match for you if you

    • Will complete (or have just completed) a Bachelor degree, and higher program such as Masters, in 2025

    • Studied and/or have some work experience in the computer science, digital or energy/sustainability engineering area

    • Hard skills: familiarity with Python, basic knowledge of cloud-based data solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), understanding of data governance principles (e.g. data quality, security and compliance), familiarity with data modeling concepts and relational databases (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL)

    • Soft skills: strong analytical and solution-oriented skills, ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders, eagerness to learn and stay updated with data architecture trends

    • Have excellent English skills written and spoken too - any second language is very welcome!

    This program is located in Budapest, Hungary, hybrid working model is available but no remote option.
