    • Perform gap assessment against industry standards/regulatory requirements, work cross-functionally to close gaps

    • Ensure effective communication of risk to senior management and the Board

    • Lead critical projects with high visibility and impact, including any related regulatory remediation

    • Work with data governance and model risk teams to support efficient analytics platforms, including daily liquidity monitoring and Liquidity Stress Testing

    This is a people leader role reporting into the Managing Director of Financial Risk Management.

    What you have

    The Director, Liquidity Risk Oversight must have experience working in financial institutions, preferably both bank and broker-dealer, possess great partnership skills coupled with an ability to challenge, and effective verbal and written communication skills.

    The following qualifications are required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or business related field

    • 5+ years of working in a financial institution in Treasury or Financial Risk Oversight functions

    • Familiarity with regulations pertaining to liquidity (Reg LL/YY, SR 10-6)

    • Knowledge of bank and broker-dealer's balance sheet

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and interact cross-functionally

    • Strong process orientation and analytical skills

    • Self-motivated, able to multi-task and perform under strict deadlines

    The following qualifications are preferred:

    • 10+ years of working in financial institution subject to Prudential Standards in Treasury or Financial Risk Oversight functions

    • A Master's degree in business related field or CFA/other related certification

    • Experience managing high-performing teams

    • Experience creating presentations for executive audiences

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
