s degree in Accounting or equivalent
3-5 years related experience
Experience with federal and state & local income tax compliance
Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
In-depth Excel and tax software knowledge
Alteryx experience a plus
Public-company experience a plus
Must be self-sufficient, a great teammate, and work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
What you'll do:
Individual will assist the compliance team in a variety of tasks which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Coordinate data requests for the preparation of the Company's federal and state income tax returns
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, state apportionment calculation, and other supporting calculations
Prepare and review income tax estimated payments and extensions
Assist with preparation and review of annual 990-PF Return of Private Foundation filing
Maintain compliance calendar due dates
Maintain tax payments process
Respond to federal and state income tax notices and provide income tax audit support
Assist with research projects that stem from tax planning opportunities
Work collaboratively on a cross-functional basis to identify and implement process improvements
Assist Senior Manager and Director with ad hoc projects
In addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
