    Advisor Services Block Desk Team is a team that  is a subgroup of institutional trading professionals who differentiate themselves by combining a passion for service with a deep understanding of Internal and external trading tools, market mechanics and complex execution strategies along with ability to assist clients in the execution of equity block trades.

    What you are good at

    This position requires proven leadership skills with an extensive knowledge of institutional trading as well as a deep understanding of our various internal and external trading platforms. Excellent communication skills are a must. Expert level understanding of various types of order flow and the ability to educate clients on execution strategies, and our various trading platforms.

    What you have

    Equity/ETF Block desk Team Sr Manager you will need:

    • At least 10 years of financial services industry experience
    • Experience leading or managing fast paced detail-oriented teams
    • Providing creative trading ideas and solutions that will benefit our clients
    • Leader with the ability to handle second level escalations
    • Deep understanding of internal and external trading tools, market structure and the post execution process and systems
    • Remain abreast of new developments and opportunities, and explore new ways of modifying existing processes and procedures to increase the proficiency of the department
    • Ability to solve complex trading and settlement issues.
    • Actively monitor daily volumes and staffing levels to adjust personnel activities according to departmental needs
    • Ability to effectively delegate
    • Ability to educate junior members of the team
    • Establish objectives through active listening and clear communication
    • The successful candidate will demonstrate an expert level understanding of institutional equity/ETF technologies, including the back office and allocation processes
    • The candidate will have a track record of leadership skills. (required)
    • Strong customer contact skills, along with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (required)
    • Must work well in a collaborative team environment, including cross locations
    • Series 7,63, (required)
    • Series 9,10 & 57 (preferred)
