    This leadership role is responsible for CDT platform & application reliability, database performance, DevOps automation, and 24x7 production operations across CDT. The Senior Manager will lead teams that manage incident response, site reliability engineering (SRE), database reliability (PostgreSQL), and DevOps pipelines. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical depth to deliver automation, resiliency, and operational excellence for mission-critical systems.

    Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead teams across SRE, production operations, and DevOps engineering.
    • Define and execute an availability and resiliency roadmap, aligning with enterprise standards.
    • Drive a shift-left reliability mindset, influencing architecture and design decisions.

    Production Operations & Incident Management
    • Oversee 24x7 production support for CDT platforms, ensuring rapid incident response and resolution.
    • Establish and enforce incident management processes, including escalation, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems.
    • Monitor and improve operational KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, uptime, capacity utilization).

    Database Reliability & Performance
    • Provide technical leadership for PostgreSQL and other enterprise databases.
    • Oversee database performance tuning, capacity planning, and high-availability configurations.
    • Implement backup/recovery strategies and ensure compliance with data integrity and security standards.
    DevOps & Automation
    • Manage DevOps team responsible for CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and quality gates.
    • Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives (Terraform, CloudFormation) to reduce toil.
    • Ensure secure, repeatable, and compliant deployments across environments.
    • Champion observability and monitoring solutions (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).

    Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • Work closely with application development, DBA, and business teams to embed reliability and automation into SDLC.
    • Identify technical debt and operational gaps; develop and execute remediation plans.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-domain collaboration.

    What you have

    Required Qualifications

    • 10+ years in IT operations and/or software engineering with experience in SRE, DevOps, and production operations.

    • 6+ years in leadership roles managing technical teams and 24x7 production environments.

    • Strong expertise in administration, performance tuning, and high-availability setups.

    • Hands-on experience with incident management processes, ITIL concepts, and operational best practices.Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), quality gates, and automation languages (Python preferred)

    • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).

    • Familiarity with public cloud environments, PCF, GCP and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Designs advanced support processes and mentors peers to optimize functionality and security.

    • Establishes robust processes to create, secure, and monitor data pipelines and stores.

    • Designs efficient processes to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.

    • Develops QA processes that confirm compliance and ensure operational reliability

    • Streamlines requirement analysis and validation for enhanced efficiency

    • Designs security processes to enhance security and regulatory compliance.

    • Enhances processes that merge predictive and adaptive software design techniques.

    • Designs efficient processes that ensure quality and resolve issues in software components.

    • Optimizes processes for secure, compliant, and reliable software releases.

    • Optimizes design processes by integrating predictive or adaptive methods with cloud principles.
