Designs/develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. Leads projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity, scope; with guidance from manager. Provides technical expertise on the team; analyzes and evaluates code issues and makes decisions within general parameters under broad supervision. Focus on quality in all aspects of work; follows established standards of excellence. Writing quality code using modern design patterns and practices in Appian. Partnering with architects and senior developers to create robust solutions. Working with the operations support team to ensure transparency between organizations and provide quality post release support for our business partners. Participating in all team rituals (Daily standups, Planning meetings, Sprint review meetings, grooming sessions). Participating in the peer code reviews, upholding the development standards of the team. Understanding the key business functions of the Compliance department. Responsible for the Discovery, Assessment, and Planning of application development in Appian. Working with the operations support team to ensure transparency between organizations and provide quality post release support for our business partners. Participating in the evolution of the team’s Agile practice. Estimating work leveraging Agile storypoints in accordance with team standard’s.

Telecommuting permissible from any location in the US. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, employer will accept Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training. Skills: Experience and/or education must include: Appian; Production Support Knowledge; Appian CoE Setup; Database: SQL, and MariaDB; API: RESTful APIs; and Security: Integration with MySSO and MyAccess.
