This position works under close supervision and mentoring by a manager, regional specialist, and Senior Engineers within the territory. Tasks are performed independently as competencies are developed.This position is part of the Field Service organization and will be located in ……………, on a remote work basis.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Complete assigned training tasksDevelop knowledge of SCIEX productsLearn and develops technical skills necessary to perform high-quality maintenance and triage repair on instrumentsPerform preventative maintenance and triage repair on selected productsAccompany experienced Field Service Engineers on installation and repair callsMay perform installation/repair calls independently as experience increasesThe essential requirements of the job include:  You will have experience in operating and maintaining scientific instruments in a laboratory or healthcare setting within a chemistry, biology or life science setting.Excellent communications skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with customerWillingness to travel for multiple days at a time for Customer visits and/or trainingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDriving license is essentialComputer literate in Windows and MS OfficeSCIEX, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
