If yes, then this is the role for you!We are looking for a Field Application Support Specialist (m/f/d)This position is part of the EMEA Support Organization (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and will be located in Darmstadt (Germany).The role will be responsible for CE-MS (capillary electrophoresis coupled with mass spectrometry) and LC-MS product demonstrations, field application support, product/method development, technical marketing content generation and internal and external training in biopharma market. You will continually increase your knowledge and expertise by accessing cutting edge technology immediately on release.In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to showcase groundbreaking cIEF-MS (capillary isoelectric focusing-MS) product and workflows in biopharmaSupport the commercial and marketing team as technical expert on novel cIEF-MS technologyPerform application development directed at advancing cutting edge cIEF-MS workflowsProvide in-house and on-site trainings, troubleshooting, visiting customers and telephone support in a timely and professional manner to achieve high-level customer satisfactionPartner with customers to develop technical notes, publications and presentationsLiaise with local and global network to solve customer problems quickly and efficientlyParticipate in global scientific community through conferences, seminars and training programsThe essential requirements of the job include:  Bachelor degree or higher degree in chemistry or biologyExperience in biopharma characterization workflows covering sample preparation, analytical method development and data processingExcellent presentation, communication and customer facing skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsFluent in German and English (verbal and written)Driver license and willingness to EMEA wide travel (up to 20%)It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: LC-MS/CE-MS or CE at a biopharmaceutical/biotech companySCIEX, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
