This entry-level position works under close supervision and mentoring by a manager, regional specialist and senior engineers within the territory. Tasks are performed independently as proficiencies are developed.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop knowledge of applicable products, customer support, and technical skills vital to perform high-quality preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentsMentors or assists with preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs, and independently as ability improvesCompletes administration duties (logging service activities, expense reporting, inventory, etc. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or EngineeringEarly/Emerging career - No experience requiredAdditional Requirements: Ability to learn troubleshooting and problem-solving proceduresVerbal communication and interpersonal skillsExposed to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocolsAbility and willingness to lift up to 50 lbsRequires ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waistExposed to seasonal weather based on geographic regionDomestic travel by vehicle or airplane, up to 50% overnight travel may be requiredMaintain valid Driver's LicenseMeet Vendor Credentialing requirements: background check, Education and Employment Verification When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
