This role is focused on ensuring customer success in the areas of Proteomics and large molecule applications. In this role you will continually increase your knowledge and expertise by accessing and promoting cutting edge technology. You will help customers develop methods and applications, both routine and groundbreaking, attend technical and scientific conferences, interact with key opinion leaders and become an active member of the Sciex Application Network.This position is part of the EMEAI Support Organization and will be located in Alderley Park, UK.In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide the technical skills and expertise in presales situations and collaborate closely with the Sales Team to research, develop and demonstrate applications to showcase Sciex’s product portfolio addressing prospective customers’ needs including face to face demos, remote presentations or presales visits at customer sitesContribute to the ongoing success of the innovative ZenoTOF and 7500 mass spectrometry platformsDevelop and update applications to stay ahead of market trends and advances across a variety of different areas from sample preparation through to data handling and processingKeep up to date with and contribute to innovations within the scientific community, communicate internally to aid future product developmentsLeverage expertise to generate and communicate marketing material such as technical & application notes, posters and conference presentationsAid customers in their method development and troubleshooting, this could be onsite or remoteDeliver successful customer training inhouse, onsite or remotelyWork with Service and wider Support network to ensure customer problems are tracked and quickly resolvedThe essential requirements of the job include: Degree/PhD in chemistry, life sciences or equivalent experienceProven track record in analytical chemistry: chromatographic and mass spectrometry method development and troubleshooting, ideally focused on Proteomics life sciences and large molecule applicationsExtensive hands-on experience of LC-MS/MS use, method development and troubleshootingOrganizational skills – must be able to manage workload to work independently prioritize as needed and contribute to wider team goalsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel >25% - expectation to also eventually travel across the European region to drive customer engagement, provide onsite support, training, troubleshooting and technical expertiseSCIEX, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
