Together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.In this position the product manager will be responsible for developing product strategy, defining product positioning, and identifying new applications and markets for CE-MS within the biopharma and life science markets. Knowledge of capillary electrophoresis (CE) and mass spectrometry (MS) in the biopharmaceutical, biotech, or life science industries and previous product management experience is preferred.ResponsibilitiesLead commercial launches of new CE-MS product introductions (NPIs) working with the marketing, business development, and sales organizationsWork collaboratively with global sales and marketing teams to drive product growth.Identify new business opportunities through an assessment of customer needs, market and application needs, lead new product concept definition, and assess the attractiveness of new opportunitiesCollaborate with key customers and opinion leaders to develop new application areas and product ideas.Develop product positioning and strategy.Communicate value propositions and work collaboratively with the global marketing team and applications team to generate customer-facing literature, website content, technical marketing content, and sales training.Conduct regular VOC to ensure the needs of the market are well understoodOwn and manage product roadmap.Own product life cycle from ideation to end-of-life.Work closely with CE and MS R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality to drive product development.Education and Work Experience:Industry knowledge in Biopharma or Life Sciences7 + years of experience in Biopharma, Biotech or Life Science product management, marketing, sales, or application scientist rolesMS or Ph.D. in preferredKnowledge of CE and MS technology and marketAbility to perform exceptionally in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environmentExperience working in a global environmentStrong communicator with the ability to influence people directly and remotely.Travel:This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites globally, with additional travel to trade shows and SCIEX sites (30%).LocationFremont, CA, Redwood Shores, CA, or Brea, CAWhen you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
