    Position summary

    Review and validate PO’s, sales orders and quotes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Accurately process orders from customers received via phone, fax, email, or other electronic means for all products.Provide administrative support for manager.Train new hires and provide on-going training.Create and/or document standard work in quality system for compliance and audit requirements.Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to close process and/or business gaps and streamline Sales Administration workflows.Offer technical expertise for department/ liaise with internal customers for the Sales Administration department.Review quotes and sales orders for revenue recognition requirements.Phone queue back up within Que system call center.Manage, follow up and maintain all open ordersResponsible for maintaining and following through on scheduling reports.Document sales order errors, prepare documentation and process credit/rebills.Coach team to minimize error rate and gain deeper understanding of core business workflows.Requires the knowledge and skills normally acquired through successful completion of an Associate Arts (A.A) degree or equivalent experience.4+ years of customer service, order management and/or sales administration experience or proven work experience.Experience with Saleforce.com, Oracle 11i a plus and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.Verbal and written communication skills to articulate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers.Analytical skills to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists.Set priorities and multi-task to meet deadlines.Willingness to remain flexible to accommodate fluctuations in workload.Ability to read and interpret general business documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, customer contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.Advanced product line knowledge of both instruments and consumables.When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
