Together we ' re pioneering the future of science and medicine , developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.(Validation Consulting Specialist )External PostingLocation/Region : Tokyo , JapanReports to : (Field Technical Support & Software Business Manager)Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:Compliance Services Specialist (CSS) is responsible for co-developing a growth strategy of compliance business with managers and field and service sales teams in Japan , including setting the sales targets , and maintaining forecast accuracy.Responsible for consultation and promotion of SCIEX compliance services such as qualification and validation to the regulated market customers via collaboration with product sales, aftermarket/service sales, field service and channel partners.CSS drives compliance businesses in new markets where qualification, validation, compliance and software and informatics services are needed by new customers.CSS educates and mentors IAS and service sales reps and field service regarding the compliance philosophy for them to deliver key values on compliance service products to our customers.Co-drives lead nurturing activities of compliance service products to foster potential leads to turn into a successful sale by collaborating with internal and external sales channels.Collaborates with internal functions and personnel to ensure compliance services and products meet customer needs and corporate guidelines.Works closely with customers and internal functions to ensure successful compliance deal closure by customizing and delivering required protocols and technical documentation , and by conducting  necessary consultation , negotiation and communication.Fosters and promotes close working relationship with Service Product Management , Compliance and Validation Services delivery and development teams and other groups as required across the value chain.Travels on-site to meet with customers for VOC and sales calls.Participates conferences and seminars for speaking engagements and to stand as a representative of SCIEX and/or Global Services.Participates in managerial discussions as deemed appropriate by department management.Supports the Validation & Compliance group on smaller projects and activities that may fall outside of this positions primary scope on necessary-basis.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Job SkillsSelf-motivatedEffective communication , negotiation and presentation skillStrong customer service skill – understand customer ' s needs , responding to customer ' s inquiries in fast-moving business environmentProficient in English communicationFamiliar with business strategy building , business budget management and business goal managementTroubleshooting and problem solving skillIT and/or informatics backgroundBasic knowledge of computer business applications (e. g., Oracle, SFDC, MS Office, etc.)Flexible for domestic/international travelBasic knowledge (hardware and software) of Mass Spectroscopy and/or HPLC productsQualificationsBachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences , Engineering or equivalentExperience of 3 to 5 years in marketing , and/or compliance services related or equivalentBasic knowledge of PMDA and other regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to the use of mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography products.Basic knowledge of SCIEX products and/or work experience at CRO/Pharmaceutical firm a plusPrevious experience in a management/leadership role is preferredExperience of working with product teams and field service organization is desirableWhen you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization , where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
