Director - Cloud Partnerships

Reporting to the Head of Cloud Strategy, this position will be a key member of the leadership team within an exciting new business unit at Seagate.  In order to grow and scale our emerging business, it is a strategic imperative that we build a vibrant ecosystem of cloud partners.

About the role - you will:

In this high-impact role, you will help shape our ecosystem strategy and will be responsible for developing and executing measurable plans to identify and establish partnerships, scale relationships and build real business value that drives revenue growth.  A key area of focus will be to establish alliances with key partners in the managed service provider (MSP), systems integrator (SI) and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) arenas.

&bull    Help shape our strategy to build a vibrant ecosystem of cloud partners
&bull    Define and execute measurable plans to identify and establish partnerships, scale relationships and build real business value that drives revenue growth
&bull    Foster relationships at partner organizations at executive and all levels to drive success
&bull    Define and execute long-term and annual execution plans for the cloud team to unlock the full potential of growth with our partners
&bull    Bring leadership and structure to joint strategy and GTM plans with partners, including prioritization of verticals, geos, solutions, metrics, financials, and target accounts
&bull    Utilize knowledge, relationships, and influence within our partner ecosystem to jointly define customer solutions
&bull    Actively scout and prioritize collaboration and integration opportunities across cloud players, MSPs, SIs and ISVs. Work closely with all partners and peers to build and activate ecosystem plays in the market
&bull    Partner closely with organizations throughout Seagate including the Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Finance organizations
&bull    Deliver key metrics and results for the Cloud Strategy organization while fostering cross-functional alignment to drive to measurable and successful outcomes for Seagate

Your experience includes:

&bull    Experience working for, or partnering with, the world&rsquos top MSPs, SIs and ISVs.
&bull    Deep knowledge and understanding of this market segment and a profound appreciation of the digital aspirations of enterprise customers.
&bull    Track record of highly successful engagement with enterprise IT customers
&bull    Highly effective at developing, maintaining and influencing partner relationships at all levels, especially senior and executive leadership levels
&bull    Excellent communication and presentation capabilities combined with ability to clearly articulate complex business proposals and to influence both internal and external stakeholders at executive levels
&bull    Excellent cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills that can quickly bring together Product, Marketing and Sales to execute against partnerships
&bull    Strong market knowledge and ability to create successful growth strategies as well as own and execute on a long-term strategic plan
&bull    Demonstrated success at applying analytical skill to long-term business planning that results in tangible business outcomes.
&bull    Ability to succeed in a fast paced, high growth environment while leading the organization through multiple company stages.
