Global Supply Chain Planner - Staff level

Seagate Global Demand Planning is seeking a Staff Analyst - to join our team to be responsible for analyzing customer demand patterns, future trends, market competition, and company product mix and revenue strategies in making recommendations to optimize product supply. About the role - you will:

• Perform data and information analysis leading to business decisions or recommendations
• Prepare reports and other documents
• Have wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
• Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
• Conduct ongoing analysis and interpretation of customer consumption and fulfillment adjustments to determine trended future requirements
• Act as primary source to the customer teams in the consolidation of product fulfillment and communicating changes/ alternatives to the customer teams
• Identify and negotiate constraints in production capabilities regarding configuration, material, and technical issues
• Apply knowledge of internal product and revenue strategies, interacts with Seagate internal sales force to achieve a balanced strategy in fulfilling customer delivery requirements
• Manage the pilot/risk build and new product transition to ensure product fulfillment meets customer delivery requirements

About you:

• Strong presentation and communication skills required to communicate with senior business executives and stakeholders
• Ability to distill and synthesize insights from analysis to the right level of detail
• Results-oriented to achieve defined business objectives
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively
• Identify relevant and effective data sources with tenacity, proposing solutions to identified issues
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision

Your experience includes:

• Working with SAP IBP
• Very strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills
• Forecast and planning systems
• Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
• Supporting product management or sales functions and/or a uniquely related set of combined skills and training
• Bachelor&rsquos degree and/or equivalent experience

You might also have:

• APICS certification
• Six Sigma certification
