Principal Enterprise Solution Architect

About our group:

The Principal Enterprise Solution Architect position within the IT Enterprise Application group will provide leadership in architectural planning and driving solutions across domains / solution areas, contributing to the future success of the business through innovations in technology. 

About the role - you will:

• Contribute to strategic blueprints and planning for implementation programs based on a deep understanding of industry best practices, technology platform and Seagate business needs
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders on definition and execution of the implementation roadmap
• Engage the broader IT team on architecture, design, solution and platform selection
• Map end-to-end system landscape, processes and challenges, identify business improvement opportunities, develop a clear end-state solution, and create a road map for achieving those goals
• Independently perform concise and thorough problem analysis, prepare ad deliver compelling business cases and recommendations 
• Lead solution design and architectural analysis on cross-functional projects
• Manage end-to-end solution delivery in terms of scope and quality

• You have extensive and solid experience with enterprise applications in high-tech manufacturing industry and large international companies.

Your experience includes:

• 15 - 20+ years of experience in large scale greenfield SAP ERP implementation projects for multi-billion-dollar global companies
• Extensive experience with high-tech manufacturing including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing
• 10+ year’s leadership experience in managing a global application portfolio
• Experience defining a road-map with both long-term architecture and short-medium term implementation plan and quick wins that incrementally accomplishes the goals 
• Very strong project management experience 
• A Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business and 15+ years of experience A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is preferred or equivalent education and experience

Location:

The estimated base salary range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is: $163,000 - $242,000. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
