We are seeking a Sr. Digital Editor with exceptional editorial skills and a passion for digging into the details. This role sits within the Digital Experience (DX) team alongside designers, strategists, copywriters, researchers, PMs, and developers. As part of the global marketing organization, the DX team supports servicenow.com and other external-facing websites. Our digital properties represent our brand, the products we sell, and who we are as a company.
As a Sr. Digital Editor, you will be responsible for guiding the consistent application of digital and brand standards across a variety of content types and experiences. You will edit and refine short-form copy for a diverse portfolio of web content, define new copy standards and patterns, and apply data-driven insights to improve outcomes.
The ideal candidate thrives on making the complicated simple, from processes to the copy itself. You are comfortable providing quick, candid feedback with a professional demeanor and have a talent for constructively coaching writers and content contributors. You are an accomplished editor who knows how to translate customer needs, pain points, preferences, and ambitions into engaging experiences, and above all, you consistently deliver high-quality content.
What you’ll do in this role
Drive editorial excellence and uphold standards and best practices to maintain consistent quality, voice, and style.
Work closely with cross-functional groups to deliver strategic, data-driven, high-performing copy that is on-message and optimized for the web.
Provide constructive, actionable copy feedback with efficiency and candor**.**
Contribute creative ideas for new or enhanced standards, experiences, processes, and editorial opportunities.
Develop working knowledge of ServiceNow products, solutions, and related technologies to help distill technical concepts into meaningful customer benefits.
Ensure web copy is clear, concise, compelling, and aligned to business and customer goals.
Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, including copywriting, strategy, SEO, brand, product marketing, research, analytics, and campaigns.
Manage your editorial process for assigned areas to execute on multiple priorities simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of work under tight deadlines and rapidly changing parameters.
Write in U.S. English for a global audience, optimizing copy for wide-scale translation across multiple languages.

Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home.
