Job Description
Our team of highly motivated & talented people develop workflows for Field Service Management to help customers manage location-based work efficiently and safely. This is part of the Customer Workflow Business unit.
We specialize in providing tools & capabilities for consistent Work order management, Automate with Scheduling and Dispatcher Workspace, Coordinate with third-party contractors, Maximize resource utilization & Manage calendars, time, skill and cost, Empower field service workers with mobile application, Track inventory and parts, Planned maintenance and Asset management, Enrich customers last mile experience & collaboration and Monitor performance via reporting & dashboards
This group brings together a diverse set of people spread cross locations for developing Field service management solution which are customizable & scalable large enterprise grade cloud applications and delivering top quality, highly functional business software using Agile methodology on the ServiceNow Platform
Our team has the opportunity and challenge of solving real work problem that impact customer on day to day basis in Field service management domain such as Ability to capture right work order information & location, Completion of work the first time that meets service level agreements, Identifying the most qualified worker for the task, Provide necessary knowledge articles & safety checklists, Manual or automated scheduling considers their skills, location, parts on hand, and availability schedule, Fix problems before your customers know they have them with preventive maintenance and asset management, Improve mobile worker efficiency through mobile great experience
Further we constantly explore trends in areas of IoT, ML/AL, Augment reality, mobile to enhance Customer experience & Technician productivity.

What you get to do in this role:
As a Staff / Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be an individual contributor in the ServiceNow Customer Workflow (CWF) engineering team, and you will be
Design and develop high quality applications leveraging the industry leading ServiceNow platform
Develop across the full stack of Web technologies – Java, JavaScript, UI frameworks, HTML, CSS, and SQL
Work in a scrum-based agile development process which plans and builds features targeted to a release
Design and implement software that is simple, intuitive and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs
Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with business and product owners, and creative designers
Collaborate with product managers and user experience designers to deliver delightful experiences
Build rich, modern web and mobile web experiences that are accessible, progressive and responsive
Lead and mentor less experienced engineers
Support customers of our applications through bug fixes and patches

Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home.
