Credentialing Specialist

Where you'll work

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration in our Irving, Tx location.

About the work:

  • Demonstrate a professional, proactive attitude, establishes, and maintains effective channels of communication with clients, caregivers, and team members.

  • Provides excellent customer service to all constituents under the guidance of the QA & Credentialing Lead and in accordance with the Shiftkey's expectations.

  • Document and maintain proficiency in all support functions and activities to ensure office operations are met.

  • Proactively assist candidates through the onboarding process by engaging and supporting their progress. Track and monitor all pre-assignment, and contract specific requirements to ensure compliance prior to activating newly hired providers.

  • Responsible for data entry, validation of data and data integrity for all credentialing requirements for providers.

  • Coordinates activities to obtain updated credentials from providers and facilities prior to expiration.

  • Adapts to and incorporates the latest technology into daily processes to achieve maximum efficiency.

  • Displays strong organizational skills and time management skills to efficiently support multiple offices.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Who you are:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a business administration, public health, or related fields or equivalent experience

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or technology

  • You have 1 year of healthcare compliance, credentialing, privileging, or quality experience

  • Have experience working in a high growth/startup environment

  • You are excellent at time management

  • You have a high attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suites ( ex. Powerpoint, Word, Excel )

  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively elicit from and provide information to all team members, facilities and providers using strong communication skills
