About the work

 We are looking for a Manager, Finance to join our Finance Team. This candidate will be a detailed thinker, highly analytical, creative, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial responsibilities and decision making in a rapidly evolving business. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role is located at our home office in Las Colinas/Irving, TX. Given our massive growth, you will be expected to help build the processes that can help to scale the business to the next level. 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate and support our Chief Strategy Officer.

  • Recommend courses of action to help achieve financial goals or targets, participate in financial scenarios buildings.

  • Monitor budget requests from other departments and provide variance explanations and business insights to stakeholders in a concise manner.

  • Prepares ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for various internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with process owners to define and benchmark operational KPI and to automate the delivery of KPI dashboards.

  • Develop new processes and procedures and identify opportunities for operational improvement. This includes building processes and executing on the following: 

  • Strategic planning and financial analysis.

  • Investment appraisal.

  • Capital expenditure.

  • Budgeting and budgetary control.

  • Working capital management.

Who you are (Minimum qualifications)

  • You are an expert in all things Finance. In many cases we need you to help us think through and help build the processes around an effective Finance effort. This means that you have at least 5-8 years of experience in this area

  • You have the ability to take responsibility to achieve a set of goals and take initiative on projects.

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s in Finance, Business or Accounting. MBA or CPA is a plus. 

  • You are a strategic thinker.

  • Are able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. You are able to listen actively and extract the necessary information to keep the ball moving.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and financial systems and software.

  • Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement

Ideally you also (Preferred qualifications)

  • Have an ability to prioritize and manage expectations, be flexible and work collaboratively among internal and external departments to identify and help resolve challenges as they arise.   

  • Have experience defining, benchmarking and reporting on operational KPIs related to finance processes.

  • You have experience in M&A.

  • A highly proactive and planful, with a proven track record participating in delivering successful transformation projects.

  • A strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with senior cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team yet function well with independent responsibilities
