As a Senior Financial Analyst within our FP&A team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating budgets, performing forecasts, and generating insightful reports that contribute to strategic decision-making across the organization. Your expertise will be integral in driving financial efficiency and supporting the achievement of our company's financial goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data
Develop and maintain financial models to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Evaluate company performance by comparing actuals results with budget and
forecasts, highlighting key variances, and providing actionable insights
Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries, and present findings to senior leadership
Assists in the development of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts, incorporating input from various departments
Identify trends and provide recommendations for improving financial performance, operational efficiency
Proactively prepares ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for various internal stakeholders.
Partners with process owners to define and benchmark operational KPIs and to
automate the delivery of KPI dashboards.
Effectively develops new processes and procedures and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, or Accounting. MBA or CPA is a plus.
3+ years of experience building processes around an effective Finance effort
Experience defining, benchmarking and reporting on operational KPIs related to
finance processes. A highly proactive and planful, with a proven track record
participating in delivering successful transformation projects.
Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Actively listens and extracts the necessary information to keep the ball moving.
Efficiently prioritizes and manages expectations, be flexible and work collaboratively among internal and external departments to identify and help resolve challenges as they arise.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with senior cross-functional stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems and software
