Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) with a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to provide leadership to and direct/review work that encompasses supervisors, planners, programmers, and bargaining unit personnel.  Organizes, develops, and maintains adequate personnel to carry out the assembly and test objectives of plant.
• Maintains effective and timely communication between shifts, departments, and management team to support safety, productivity, quality, and promote cooperation and teamwork. 
• Collaborates with engineering, supply chain, marketing and sales personnel to coordinate order requirements and client requests.  Interacts directly with clients to address any grievances and react to their needs.

Your responsibilities

• Manages the assembly and test planning and execution for New units and Mods/Ups
• Managing the daily work of the assembly and test team over two shifts
• Responsible for Health, Security and Environment of the Test beds, ensuring that the local standards are met. 
• Maintaining the operability and functionality of the assembly and test facility
• Identify tooling and equipment requirements for testing and supporting their maintenance
• Developing the competencies of assembly and test personnel and identify training requirements
• Participate and lead continuous improvement activities
• Directs efforts of business to achieve bookings, sales, profit, and key objectives of operations.
• Determines short/long range manufacturing facility requirements and assures availability as required.
• Develops budget for approval and operates department(s) within approved budget.  Establishes adequate controls on assembly and test costs, including material, labor, equipment and overhead.  Assures departments meet their cost objectives.
