Your profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business, Contract Management, or Engineering and five (5) years of relevant experience in a project focused environment.
• Robust experience with commercial terms and conditions, negotiation techniques, financial understanding (letters of credit, bonds, structuring payment/cancellation schedules), and constructing strategic sourcing plans.
• Demonstrated track record of proactive, self-motivated behaviors.
• Strong communication, teamwork and collaboration skills. 
• Fluent in English – reading, writing and speaking.
• Digital tool savvy – various internal tools are used to manage daily position responsibilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% domestic/international.
• Previous employment located within the US or with a US company is a plus.

Your responsibilities

• Be the main interface within procurement and to your suppliers for your assigned equipment scope.
• Commercially evaluate/analyze proposals; conduct negotiations for complex equipment; support technical discussions/clarifications; resolve supply issues in an efficient, timely manner including actively engaging other disciplines as needed to support resolution; develop new or existing suppliers to address market competitiveness and changing technology. 
• Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Engineering, Global team etc.) to support proactive, successful execution.
• Manage your suppliers to ensure contractual requirements to deliver a quality product, on time and within budget are met.
• Utilize various digital systems to manage supplier information, requests for proposals, purchase order placement, invoice payments, post shipments, etc.

In the Procurement Department, we are responsible for establishing budgets for large-scale third-party equipment and services for power plant project proposals, and for purchasing of such equipment and services during project execution.  The Project Procurement Manager (PPM) Professional’s main objective is to manage the assigned teams’ activities and resources to achieve cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
